A nice little bombshell exploded after the Hungarian Grand Prix: Team Principal Andreas Siedl and Project Manager Oliver Hoffmann were sacked at Alfa Romeo Stake Kick Sauber Audi… (or whatever the hell they call this bunch)
While the two gentlemen were arguing, Mattia was greeted by Binotto with a "see you next year" greeting and rode into Enstone. According to the official report, his arrival was due to the operational controllability and effectiveness of the racing team, and he will be accountable to the Audi Team. He will start work on August 1st:
