The latest weather reports are calling for a strong chance of a wet race on Sunday, with a strong and widespread storm system expected to move into Melbourne and the surrounding area by then, bringing significant amounts of rainfall.

This year, the Grand Prix is threatened by rain, and if we have already discussed 2010 and McLaren, the chances of the latter's success have increased now. And the icing on the cake is that if the precipitation arrives earlier and spoils it on Saturday, then Mohammed ben Sulayem, who has been attacked a lot lately, could come under great pressure. After all, if the FIA starts to falter at the highly anticipated first race, it will further weaken the president's already not very strong position...
