Lewis Hamilton won the second free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix in a close "battle", where the first twenty minutes were also driven by a Mercedes on medium tires, with George Russell being the fastest. Lando Norris, who started the first practice session, did not fare badly either, but Max Verstappen suffered again, complaining a lot about the balance of his car.
