The always well-informed BusinessF1 magazine reports that the smoke has cleared and Adrian Newey has signed for Scuderia Ferrari for the equivalent of 39 billion forints.
The marriage was officiated by Eddie Jordan, and of course it wasn't free. Newey will now be able to realise his unfulfilled dream of working with Lewis Hamilton, whom he considers the best Formula 1 driver, from 2025. The agreement was reached in the days before the Miami Grand Prix and will last for three years, during which the engineer will receive $105 million for helping Ferrari return to the world championship throne.
