(Not so much) McLaren boss Zak Brown has made a shocking statement: he believes Max Verstappen will be spending his last year at Red Bull Racing. Lando Norris' boss also made a shocking prediction...
According to Brown, Verstappen can build a new career not at the much-talked about Aston Martin, but at another team:
"I think this will be his last season at Red Bull, and I would also bet on where he will continue: at Mercedes! I know there are a lot of rumors about Aston Martin, especially since Adrian Newey signed there. But Adrian will have time to build the organizational culture and team around him that will allow him to rise to the championship contenders. And Max doesn't like to wait... That's why I think Mercedes will be his next stop. And it would actually be a completely logical move. Mercedes is the most successful team in the last decade, they had a hard time last year, but they still won four races and are on an improving path. They are well prepared for the rule changes in 2026, we know that Toto Wolff is also intensely interested in Max, and both of their drivers' contracts are expiring..." Zak Brown teased the Verstappen bomb.
