Another big name is leaving, another big blow to Red Bull Racing. McLaren has signed Will Courtenay, one of Red Bull's longest-serving employees.
Courtenay has been employed by Red Bull since its inception, and even held a senior position at its predecessor. Until now, when the big rival took him down nicely...

We are looking to strengthen our leadership team while continuing to fight for victories and championships,” said Andrea Stella, McLaren team principal. The only hitch is that Red Bull insists that Courtenay complete his contract, which runs until mid-2026…
"Will has been offered the role of McLaren Sporting Director and has accepted it. He is leaving us after a very long and incredibly successful period and we wish him all the best for his future. Will will remain with the team and will fulfil his contract," Red Bull said in a statement. Now, someone has to be on his toes to tell us what will happen.
