Outraged FIA President: "TOO MUCH b**** and f***ing!"

Felháborodott FIA elnök: „TÚL SOK a b**** meg és a f***ozás!”

Krisztián Márk Tóth |

Mohammed ben Sulayem is fed up with what he hears on the radio during race weekends. The FIA president says this style belongs in RAP music, not on the racetrack.

Sulayem intends to change this “phenomenon” and consolidate the quality of the tone that is being conveyed to the fans. That is why he has instructed the officials to show fewer such interventions during the races, but this is of course only a symptomatic treatment, with which the leader is not yet satisfied:

“It’s time to differentiate motorsport from rap music. We’re not rappers! How many times do they fuck up every minute? We’re not that, we’re not that! As a former driver, I know very well that people say things in the heat of the moment, especially when you feel like someone ran into you and pushed you off the track, out of the race... When I was driving in the sand, I got nervous too. However… We have to be careful how we behave. With modern technology, every single word can be broadcast, everything is recorded, everything can be traced.

On the one hand, it is worth examining whether we should let these radio conversations air, and on the other hand, let's just think about it: anyone who watches the races with their children will surely want to hear this? What will we give back to our grandchildren, what is this sport all about anyway?" - Sulayem made a justified outburst, as a result of which less of this kind of "content" will be broadcast from the Singapore Grand Prix onwards.
