COMING SOON: Germany would return with two tracks

HAMAROSAN: Németország két pályával térne vissza - FansBRANDS®

Germany is a black spot on F1's white coat. While they are deeply involved in the sport through a number of teams and interests, they have not hosted a Formula 1 race for a long time. That could all change now!
F1 badly needs the return of real, traditional racing venues alongside the so-called "plastic" tracks, which is why this is good news. It looks like two classics will return from 2026, with the Nürburgring and Hockenheim taking steps towards this.
"We are preparing exciting announcements. We are currently in talks with several European race organizers, including the Nürburgring and Hockenheimring - and hopefully we will be able to report some good news to Formula 1 fanatics in the near future. This will affect several European race venues, including traditional returnees, the possibilities are open," said Stefano Domenicali.

The leaders of both tracks have also confirmed that communication is taking place and that they are working on a return:

"We believe that the German market must find a role in Formula 1. We have been looking for opportunities and a connection point, and we are constantly working to make this commitment happen. We fundamentally consider the annual rotation between the Nürburgring and Hockenheim to be a good model, and this has already been a viable alternative. The most important aspect is operability, which is why we are joining forces," the track operators said in agreement.

One thing is for sure, Audi will arrive in 2026, and there will be NO German factory team without the German Grand Prix!
