Leclerc was not secretly dissatisfied after last year, as he was very confident that after 2008, under his leadership, they would be able to break the tight years of constructors' lack of wins. It didn't work out then, but it will now... However, the Monaco driver doesn't just want to steer Scuderia Ferrari to the top among manufacturers:
“It was a big disappointment for me that we just missed out on the constructors’ title last year. After that, the only goal I have in mind is to win the constructors’ title. That would be an incredible achievement. But that’s not all. I also want to win the drivers’ world championship. I’ve been dreaming about this since I was a little kid, I want to make it a reality one day, and I want that day to come in 2025! So I can safely say that our goal this year is to win two world championships!
I am prepared, nothing will depend on me. The seasons are getting longer every year, I have to prepare properly for this. The work I do has not changed, I always do the same thing and in the same way. I spent all my time training, I was in Italy, in the Dolomites, to put as much strain on myself as possible, to tighten my physique as much as possible. I managed to achieve this, I have never been in such good condition before, I just have to maintain this state. I am ready for 2025!” – said Charles Leclerc with extreme confidence.
