The Hungarian Grand Prix continued with the second free practice session under consistently "HARD" conditions, interspersed with red flag interruptions, accidents, and spins.
The second practice session was started by Nico Hülkenberg, he had something to make up for, but the others quickly got to work. Typically, the medium compounds were on the table, only McLaren thought differently, Lando Norris and his team were groping for hard ones. The work was uneventful, but at a fast pace, until Charles Leclerc arrived and lost the rear of the Ferrari on the way out of Mansell. It wasn't a very big accident, but it turned out to be just enough to take him out of the rest of the session and force a red flag pause. The barrier was also damaged in the party, but by the time we had written these lines, Guanyu Zhou had thrown the Stake in the same place and almost the same way. This didn't cause any particular problems, the Chinese was able to get back and continue circling. Lando Norris eventually won FP2 ahead of the stable Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz, who was fastest in the first free practice.
