This week, F1 arrives in Monaco, the venue where the Woking team's record champion still holds the record with his seemingly unrivaled six victories. McLaren pays tribute to this achievement with this truly sensational livery:
“We are very proud to be able to pay tribute to the life, work, achievements and legacy of Ayrton Senna with this special livery. Sadly, he is no longer with us, but he is still known as one of the greatest icons of Formula 1 and the greatest driver McLaren has ever had. He had an incredible impact on the sport, on the team, not just through his achievements, but also through his presence, his working methods and his entire legacy. It is an honour to be able to race in his colours on the track where he achieved his greatest success. On the thirtieth anniversary of his death, we have decided to wear his favourite colours at his favourite venue,” said Zak Brown.
