George Russell believes the 2025 season could end badly, as Lando Norris and his team have an advantage the sport has never seen before.
According to the Briton, it wasn't even this big of a deal when Max Verstappen won almost every race of the season...
"The current McLaren is clearly capable of winning every race with him. They have a strong pair, I think they could do it, but life will intervene somewhere... In any case, I have never seen such a superiority, they are stronger than Red Bull Racing ever was. You knew then that if Max is in that car, you will have practically no chance of beating him on your own. The season is long, hopefully there will be moments when everything does not work out for them, we have to seize these opportunities.
Unfortunately, they are clearly doing something better than the rest of the field, the difference becomes most noticeable when the tires start to warm up. They hit something terribly there, they are able to make a huge difference. Of course we will improve, but overall I don't think we will be able to squeeze them on our own," George Russell painted a sad picture of the future.
