Last year we lost a lot of time due to exceeding the weight limit, but we have improved the materials used, the quality of production, which allows us to start from a much better position. Our previous car was very weak in headwinds, we have also refined this a lot, because these gave us a lot of headaches. The GPS data showed that we also suffered a lot in windy conditions.
We have to see where the competition is, but all in all, I am very positive. I would like to see us improve, to get into a position, but it is already a very good sign that we are actually operating as a top team. With the arrival of Carlos Sainz, we have made a huge step forward, he is a great reinforcement for the team! Carlos had the best season of his life so far last year, he delivered a sensational performance. He will be a good basis for comparison for me, I can learn a lot from him, and I hope that he will learn from me too,” said Alexander Albon approvingly.
