How beautiful our childhood was, when Formula 1 cars weren't sterilized banners, but rather hard-edged anti-PC cigarette advertising billboards... Aston Martin's new sponsorship deal will now bring back some of this nostalgia.
The Greens announced ahead of this weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix that they will be partners with one of the world's oldest and most famous whisky distilleries, Glenfiddich, from 2025. And yes, of course there will be Aston Whisky too...
"With a limited edition 1959 bottling, we will pay tribute to one of the great moments in motorsport history and the team. This was the year Aston Martin made its Formula 1 debut and won Le Mans. That's why we dug deep into the Glenfiddich cellars and brought our long-aged spirit to the surface," said Brian Kinsman, from the company.
"Las Vegas is the perfect location to launch our partnership and we are very excited to work with Glenfiddich. Our aim is to provide an unforgettable experience for both motorsport and whisky lovers!" said Lawrence Stroll.
