Anyone who has been following Lewis Hamilton's Scuderia Ferraris debut may have noticed that the Briton lacks his usual idiocy this time. He is elegant, measured, almost exemplary. Like a true sportsman! It looks like he is not doing all this on his own...
The seven-time world champion also “tried out” some interesting things with the Italians, such as an unannounced agreement with a clothing sponsor. Hamilton announced during last week’s testing that he would be the face and ambassador of the fashion brand Lululemon. However, he forgot to tell Scuderia Ferrari and the team’s official clothing partner, Puma. The Germans were so upset by the move that Ferrari chairman John Elkann reportedly had to calm things down.
Finally, with Elkann's special permission, Hamilton can cooperate with the aforementioned company, but only on the condition that he takes Puma's business interests into account in the future. The consequence of the mess is that Hamilton was forced to dress normally (meaning, without any divisive extreme appearance) in Bahrain, and we could see him in Puma's official Scuderia Ferrari outfits every single day.
