In a tight race with little action, Oscar Piastri handed Lando Norris a straight start-finish victory to help him in the points race.
Oscar Piastri got off to a great start, easily maintaining his lead, with no changes in the lead. Max Verstappen tried aggressively against Charles Leclerc, but was unsuccessful after several attempts. Not so Nico Hülkenberg, who improved the most among those on the track, but the fronts stiffened behind him. Sergio Perez also tried, and there was a reason, as the Red Bull Racing seat is very wobbly under the Mexican. In the last quarter of the race, Verstappen caught up with Leclerc and took over third place from him, while McLaren was preparing to swap places. This happened on lap 22, and the race almost ended during the VSC phase due to Hülkenberg's exit, with only half a lap of racing. In the end, Lando Norris won the sprint ahead of Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen.
