Williams has launched its 2025 car, and Andrea Kimi Antonelli has completed his first 2025 Mercedes kilometres in Spain.
Preparation is also necessary, because despite Antonelli being perhaps the most mileage-ridden rookie of all time (almost 30 races, 9,000 km+ under his belt, according to his team boss), he has not seemed at all convincing so far. In the private test, he used Mercedes' 2020 car, the W11, with camouflage paint, and the fact that they have great confidence in Antonelli is clearly shown by the fact that he could be the first rookie driver at the team since 2010.
