First, the intellectual author made the "gentlemen" the subject of public ridicule, and then shortly after announced that he had no desire to compete in a championship where he could not even express himself honestly in the heat of the competition... After the memorable penalty at the Singapore Grand Prix and the ensuing scandal, a high-ranking Red Bull executive has now indicated that Verstappen is not talking nonsense when he says that he will be kicked out of F1 with such nonsense:
"Max has to be taken very seriously. He has great results, he has a huge impact on this sport, but for that to remain so, he has to enjoy what he does. He is the kind of person who suddenly says, okay, let's just let it go, that's it. If you push him too hard for too long, he can easily snap. I know he said what he said from the heart and with the utmost seriousness, but I sincerely hope they didn't manage to get him so hung up that he did it unexpectedly. I don't understand this attitude from the FIA. Drive to Survive is full of foul language, obscene language, and that's what sells the show.
