Jock Clear, Charles Leclerc's mentor, says the driver has long been "ready-made" with a world champion mentality, but Scuderia Ferrari has not yet been able to grow up to him.
It's always interesting to hear a suggestion from the inside, and Clear is a Ferrari employee, so it's worth listening to what he says. He has no doubt that Leclerc is worthy of the championship title, and there's only one (two…) obstacle: The team and the car. If these grow up to his class, the results will come!

He knows everything in every stage, he has potential. In fact, there is something in which he is the best ever in the history of Formula 1! And that is his qualifying ability. I think he is better than Ayrton Senna in this, better than Michael Schumacher or Mika Hakkinen. And the way he performs in race situations is also exceptional, just think of Monza. I say that if everything is in place, he will bring the results we expect from him. Once everything comes together behind him, he will lead Ferrari back to the top, but Charles has not been in such a situation yet.
