Red Bull Racing's advisor says Lewis Hamilton is in deep trouble and can't hide it anymore. The Briton's desperation is obvious.
Helmut Marko says that Hamilton has already had a great year and is focusing on the following:
"The truth is that I see him as quite desperate. I think he is already waiting for the rule changes and his 2026 race car, and he is confident that Scuderia Ferrari will build a car this time that suits him much better and with which he will have a chance to win an eighth world championship."
Frederic Vasseur himself doesn't deny that Hamilton isn't feeling his best right now, but according to the team boss, this can only be to his advantage:
"He's certainly under himself, as he only finished seventh, while Charles Leclerc finished on the podium. But I think he can make a virtue out of this, because the real problem would be if he was satisfied. He's not, he's hungry for success, motivated, and next to him is an extraordinary competitive character who always wants to get the best possible performance out of himself. He doesn't always succeed in this, so his frustration is understandable. Now we just have to work and rule everything out, and I support him 2,000 percent in finding his true form."
