The second sprint of this season brought little excitement and a paper victory, which also proved that last year's formation was much better.
Because since Saturday became a separate day for sprints, it doesn't really represent a risk factor, at most if one of the drivers TKOs his car. Which is unlikely, and we naturally don't want to see that. There's not much to say about the race, Max Verstappen came easily at the start, behind him Daniel Ricciardo took a position - third to be exact - which he was able to hold for a while. Behind them, Lewis Hamilton came into contact with the Aston Martins, which also caused Lance Stroll and Lando Norris' race to go down the drain... The remaining laps and minutes were mostly about the Briton, who fought a fierce battle with Kevin Magnussen for the last point-scoring spot in the sprint. In the end, Yuki Tsunoda collected it as a laughing third, and to his great surprise, the trio of Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, and Sergio Perez finished in the lead. Praise also goes to the much-sought-after Daniel Ricciardo, who showed off his skills this afternoon and drove a superb fourth place for his team.
Let's hope that qualifying will be more exciting!
