Ralf Schumacher says what's going on at Scuderia Ferrari is simply a joke. One of the most storied teams, racing for the world championship, made mistakes this weekend that would make even some of the entry-level series laugh.
As a result, both drivers of the team were disqualified after the Chinese Grand Prix, which - according to Schumacher - will have serious consequences:
"To put it mildly, Charles Leclerc was missing an element of the car. This missing piece was two kilos, which should have been calculated, and anyway... At this level of engineering, it would be appropriate to prepare with a safety margin. This is nothing more than pure incompetence. Unfortunately, Lewis Hamilton's case is even worse and raises stronger questions. After Saturday's sprint race, they should have known what kind of wear the floor plate is capable of. This is what happened, which... I believe that this will have serious consequences, personal consequences!
"They will not and cannot let such a big blunder go unpunished. They had the pace to end a great weekend, but what they did on Sunday is simply ridiculous, unacceptable, not Ferrari-level work, they should not want to be champions with such a performance," Schumacher expressed his devastating but justified opinion.
