The British Grand Prix started in cool weather at Silverstone, after a lackluster FP1, which was won by Lando Norris.
The most interesting part of the session was the list of absentees, as Isack Hadjar replaced Sergio Perez at Red Bull Racing, Franco Colapinto replaced Logan Sargeant at Williams, and Jack Doohan replaced Pierre Gasly at Alpine for the first practice session. The stage itself was a truly monotonous, workmanlike lap, interrupted only by Yuki Tsunoda's skid and the short red flag phase that followed, apart from that, nothing unusual happened. The session was won by Lando Norris, who started well, ahead of Lance Stroll and Oscar Piastri, and we will soon continue with the second free practice session, which YOU COULD follow live HERE .
