Although our webshop network and its news extend across Europe, we do not want to and cannot deny our Hungarian identity. That is why we are excited to inform you that a certain driver named Verstappen will be competing in the Rally Hungary in April!
The center of which will be Veszprém, known for its newly renovated and beautiful old town. And the one who will be behind the wheel will be Jos Verstappen, who is now very committed to rallying and plans to complete the entire European Championship season this year. Rally Hungary is also part of this, so dear F1 fans of Veszprém and the surrounding area, April 12-14, write this in your calendars... Verstappen's father will also start in the Belgian championship, and plans to essentially run a full season by completing additional races:
"We want to compete in 19-20 races this year. All races of the Belgian championship, all races of the European championship, the Valais Rally, and a Swedish historic race. In addition, we want to do the East African Safari Classic Rally, I think we will have a fantastic program this year," said the people involved.
Before you ask, no, we can't expect Max Verstappen to show up, he's scheduled to appear at the Bahrain Grand Prix at this time. But let's not be greedy... 😉
