His idea was the sport's most childish move ever, the punishment of drivers who swear, which has been made even stricter for 2025. Then there's the rape of the Monaco Grand Prix with extra stops, just to name a few, not to mention the fact that a lot of valuable professionals have left the federation due to the dictatorial behavior of the sports leader. More and more people believe that the FIA is no longer "a free organization", and this raises very serious concerns.
According to some media outlets, Susie Wolff is seriously considering the possibility of running for the presidency. Toto Wolff's wife also has a personal grudge and involvement in relation to Sulayem, as the latter had the Wolff couple investigated for a conflict of interest in 2023. The case caused such outrage that the FIA's first man quickly backed down, but the thorn is certainly still lurking in the other side. Sulayem's only reaction so far has been that she would be happy if she had a female challenger in the election.
Then it will become clear how sincere this joy is...
